6. Project management tools over methodologies

• Do not mistake tools for methodologies
• Deployment of project management tools can lead to the wrong belief that these can substitute for sound project management practices
• The deployment of sound procedures is much more important than the tools that support them

  • Even though some practices are impossible without tool support
