Typical opposition
People typically oppose a new system because they see it as
- Arising from someone else's requirements, not theirs
- An imposition that they have not approved
- A change in long-standing and comfortable habits
- A management strategy to upset labor relations
- A potential failure that will be blamed on them
- An extra burden to develop and implement
- A way of justifying cost-saving layoffs
- And perhaps all born of bitter experience !
