Modern OP
A recent survey amongst managers in the UK shows
Most understand OP as alliance building to achieve objectives
Most no longer view OP as "turf protection"
But do view it as a part of individual advancement
And more of a priority in the private sector compared to the public or voluntary sectors
Shaping key priorities in the organization is most vital
Greater future use of OP to build external partnerships
As well as organizational reputation
60% consider their OP awareness is "good"
But only 1% rate themselves as "excellent"
High performing organizations have higher OP skills
