Cost Performance Index values - 1

CPI values are interpreted as follows

• Values above 1 are good

  • Work is being done more efficiently than planned
• If you calculate from the start of the work

  • The result is not so useful
• You need to calculate just for the most recent period

  • And compare to last period for the trend
• You can probably see the trend anyway by plotting progress results
