A Short Term Plan (STP) is:

• A schedule of the work to be accomplished

  • Setting out the work in great detail
  • Including activity network relationships
  • Covering a very limited horizon
• An STP should be derived from the project's Master Schedule

  • Or at least be consistent with it
  • In fact, it is useful to show the master schedule as background data
