Acceptance of Project Deliverables

Why bother?

• Managing the project is one thing

  • But in the last analysis, it is the product that counts
• The mark of project success is "client satisfaction"

  • That includes satisfaction with the product
• If there is more than one deliverable, or the product has more than one component

  • An orderly acceptance by the customer is essential
• More than likely, such components need to be approved in a logical order starting at a predetermined date

  • This will also help to spread the workload of the product acceptance and transfer process
