Acceptance of Project Deliverables
Why bother?
- Managing the project is one thing
- But in the last analysis, it is the product that counts
- The mark of project success is "client satisfaction"
- That includes satisfaction with the product
- If there is more than one deliverable, or the product has more than one component
- An orderly acceptance by the customer is essential
- More than likely, such components need to be approved in a logical order starting at a predetermined date
- This will also help to spread the workload of the product acceptance and transfer process
