Hence a WBS Dictionary is a document that describes each element in the WBS including:

• A Statement of Work describing the work content of each work package
• The schedule or milestone dates of each
• A budget estimate and description of how the estimate was developed
• Any additional information such as the responsible organization, account code, contract number, etc.
• And often a description of what is NOT included
