The development of a WBS Dictionary will often result in an update of the project's overall statement of work

• Or the basis for a contract statement of work

The dictionary itself will evolve

• As the WBS evolves
• It should be routinely revised to incorporate changes
• And reflect the current status of the project scope

  • Throughout the project's life cycle
