Step 4: Next separate these major elements according to intermediate or final deliverables

• In practice, the separation into phases may have done that already
• Intermediate deliverables are those that are a necessary prerequisite for the creation of the final deliverable
• Example: Sketches and drawings showing assembly arrangements
In effect, the set of elements you now have is a set of high-level work packages (Continued in Issacon #1069)
