• Corporate management typically does not have the resources to undertake all of the potential projects presented to it.

  • Therefore management must implement a policy and procedure for project prioritization
  • A system of priorities based on "priority Class" reflecting the "criticality" of each project to the overall conduct of the organization's business operations is recommended
  • This may be reflected especially in the presentation of the project's business case
