Some of the corporate policy issues that may arise over adopting the model project management guidelines (PMGLs) include:

• In an organization in which there is a wide range of project sizes, should there be a lower cutoff value below which the PMGLs will not be applied?

  • E.g. minor job tasks undertaken directly by the "job owner"
  • Where the overhead/benefit is not justifiable
