• Develop a process to encourage participation

  • It must be simple to encourage ideas
• Establish a Business Case template

  • That enables comparison and screening, e.g. a statement describing the deliverable, the link to business goals, and a brief description of costs, benefits and risks
• Establish threshold acceptance criteria

  • E.g. cost/benefit, risk, fit with corporate capability
• Establish rewards for ideas and suggestions

  • That meet the criteria and/or are accepted
