For the EPPMS to work, an Executive Sponsor must

1. Own each individual project Business Case


• Ensuring alignment with corporate strategy
• And the practical needs of the business operations
2. Update the Business Case if/when business conditions change
3. Participate in optimum project portfolio selection
4. Ensure metrics are established and used
5. Make sure Business Units harvest the benefits
6. Assign responsibility

• For gathering & reporting specific benefit data
