Project Management Office (PMO) - multiple projects

• The organizational entity with full time personnel to provide a focal point for the discipline of project management. Also known as project office, project management center of excellence, or directorate of project managers

• The office is responsible for the management of a number of projects, whether related (a program) or not (a portfolio)

  • In the latter case, it should be called a Project Portfolio Office
