5. Working the problem
- If the solution is not readily found
- Study your test data or findings thoroughly
- You are looking for anomalies
- If the problem is amenable to alternative solutions
- Develop one or more of preferred responses
- And go into a decision-making mode
- If the problem is not responsive to alternate solutions
- Go into a "brain-storming" mode
- To find a work around
- Either way, assign responsibility for the necessary work
