Requirements and Project Success
One last word: Gathering requirements
- Is a very necessary passtime by asking questions
- And with some clients/customers quite difficult
- Hence this activity does not necessarily lead to "success" (of the project or product)
Tip: You may find it much more revealing to
- Ask the client/customer to define or characterize
- Their view of "a successful product"
- And the interval, post-project, over which they expect success to be achieved
You may well discover that this is more directly useful
- Than just going on asking more and more questions
