Make sure that each requirement is

• Aligned

  • Consistent with the project's vision or mission
• Consistent

  • I.e does not contradict any other requirements
• Correct

  • Requirement as stated is 100% clear and correct
• Complete

  • I.e there are no missing elements or links
  • The complete concept is captured
  • Sufficient detail to enable design and testing
