• Product transfer

  • A formal transfer and acceptance process should be established early on as a part of the project plan
  • Responsible parties must be identified for the acceptance, startup of operations, and maintenance of the product, system or service
  • Often this also involves training and support which may be a part of the project or a subsequent assignment
  • Alternatively, marketing and sales may be involved in which case, who are they and are they prepared?
