Most audiences are single minded
- Concentrate attention on a single point of focus
Audience attention
- Tracks from left to right, then settles at the left
- So, put your important stuff on the left !
The audience will look where you look
- Keep looking and pointing where you want them to look
Movement, sound, contrast, all attract attention
- Use any one to get attention, but use sparingly
Attention is sustained by variation
- Use variation to create the illusion of brevity
