• If sufficient time is available

  • A Contemplated Change Notice (CCN) can be issued

    • Which the supplier prices
  • If the acquirer accepts

    • The supplier's quotation determines the adjustment to compensation

• The acquirer then

  • Issues a formal Change Notice (CN)

    • Also known as a Change Order (CO)
    • Which then becomes part of the contract
