Summary of Content of RFP or RFT
An RFP or RFT call should include (as appropriate)
- A covering letter introducing the call
- Listing the attachments, submission date
- Requirements for a valid submission
- Whether or not alternatives may be proposed
- The number of copies to be submitted
- And to whom responses should be sent
- A description of the deliverable or scope of work
- Technical documents, e.g. specifications, drawings
- Management requirements
- E.g. quality and risk provisions
- Complete form of contract
- Clearly indicating type of contract to be entered into
- And any special conditions
