Modes of Conflict Resolution - 1

In general, there are five modes of conflict resolution

• Reactive stance

  • Withdrawal

    • One side removes themselves from the conflict
  • Smoothing

    • You or a third party minimizes the differences

• In the project environment

  • Neither of these are satisfactory

    • Because the problem is not resolved and does not go away
