• Satisfy the work package rules described in Issacon #1076
• Have a flexible modular format

  • Capable of expansion
• Be alpha-numeric
• Use mnemonics making it easier to remember and use

  • Hence reduce coding errors
• Have a consistent and compatible structure at all levels
