Arrows versus Boxes
Which are the most convenient, arrows or boxes?
- The use of arrows as activities seems to be the most intuitive when creating a simple network manually
- Using boxes is more convenient if the network is large, complex, with many relationships
- It is also much easier for setting up computation
- Most software these days calculate and present networks as Precedence Diagrams
- I.e. the activities are shown in boxes (the nodes) along with key relational data (Issacon #1313 p9)
