Unfortunately, "project manager" is almost a "default" title
- And is often applied to anyone who happens to be in charge of a project of whatever size and type
- For example on a construction project, the title should more properly be "Construction Manager"
- Consequently, qualifications and experience vary widely
As with most positions, this one may be designated as Junior, Intermediate or Senior
- With corresponding adjustments in requirements and pay scale
