For our position descriptions we have adopted a simple organizational hierarchy rather than a know-how scale, although there is some natural correspondence

(1 Operational level)


• 2 First supervisory level
• 3 Technical Manager
• 4 Project Manager
• 5 Project Director, Sponsor, PMO Manager, etc

  • All incumbents are expected to be knowledgeable and competent in project work at their respective levels
  • The measure of competency is a different issue!
