Workmanship
It is not difficult to see that
- If the quality of the workmanship is not very good
- The resulting deliverables are likely to be poor
- But the former can only be tested by examining the latter
- By which time it is too late!
- You cannot "test in" quality
- It must be designed into the product
- Inspection and testing should only be necessary
- To confirm that the product conforms to requirements
- Quality is not in the eye of the beholder
- It is in the skills of the individual
