Scope Management in Implementation

Scope management is particularly important during project implementation

• The vehicle is the scope change process

  • Which we will discuss in a later Issacon
• However, the creation of a good WBS helps considerably to identify, report, estimate and process scope changes
• Because Work Packages at the end of any particular branch of the WBS

  • Define the parameters covering the work involved in its deliverable
  • Enabling a quick comparison if the work should change
