• Scope of Work may be defined as:

  • The work involved in the definition, design, and production of the components of a project's deliverables

    • And their assembly into a satisfactory working whole

• A good scope of work statement should be preceded by:

  • A brief background to the project or component, and
  • The general objective that justifies its existence
