In the Conception Phase

A preliminary work breakdown structure during the conception phase of the project

• And hence the work packages to that point

  • Will be based on preliminary information, sketch diagrams and so on
• Estimates of their time and cost are most likely based on historical records, experience and judgement

  • Rather than on detailed "take-off" estimates
• The scope of these work packages may be large and the durations quite long
