The process of decomposition should continue
- Until each work package is reduced to a manageable level of detail
- Appropriate to the phase or stage of the project life cycle
- And consistent with the project's length, complexity, and manageability
- The sum total of all the work packages must encompass the whole of the project's scope
- Neither no less, nor no more!
