Design Changes
- Those changes in design concept or configuration that may be necessary for the successful integration of the product
- I.e. "to make it work"
- And which may impact the project cost and schedule
- After the Phase 3, Stage 1 - Execute/Build documentation has been completed & approved
- Such changes are not changes to the System Scope
- And are therefore NOT Scope Changes
- Though they may be somebody's contract changes
