Are there other names for the same thing?

• Yes. Such a review might be called

  • A Project Audit. This is probably the most formal of investigations, usually with some strict rules
  • A Project Effectiveness Review (PER). A review to determine the effectiveness of the project's management and the appropriateness of its goals
  • Project Success Review (PSR). A review of the project relative to its stated success criteria.
  • Project Performance Review, Post Project Review (PPR), etc
